What Is The Roamstead?
The Roamstead is 40 acres of semi-remote desert land in Golden Valley, AZ with shop space and off-grid essentials, offered to friends in the nomadic community in the spirit of circular giving. Founded by Jack Forrest and Carson Hotaling, longtime members and organizers in the nomadic community. The Roamstead operates as a private property with visits by invitation only, but with a commitment to sharing the space for respite and restoration for folks who need a break from the road.
